FastTrack, Mette-Marit, and the Unobtanium

Thursday, October 4th, 2001

Because I can’t think about Afghanistan 24 hours a day, I dug up some old links to Wired coverage about
FastTrack and other P2P services eclipsing Napster’s old traffic records (told you so ;-)), and a few English-language links to
Mette-Marit, Google’s hot new search term.

Also, I did a
guest spot on KCRW a while back after Doc touted the station to me, but forgot to tell anyone (including Doc) about it. Which reminds me - you can read Doc’s article on Jim Gettys’ Unobtanium in the forthcoming November Wired.

southpark soundtrack - Loved the musical, but I hadn’t noticed at the time that Paul Robb from Information Society did the score.
