Opera browser for Mac
Thursday, October 25th, 2001I gave up doing product reviews for Wired some time ago, but after a few weeks using the preview release of Opera for the Mac, I have to say I like it even better than Internet Explorer. Crashes and lockups I’d had with IE at work and home don’t happen with Opera, nor does Opera stall while rendering pages on Slashdot and certain other sites. I still haven’t figured out how to install the Flash plugin on it, but I’m starting to think I don’t want to. The one Mac IE feature I miss: The editable history window with both page titles and URLs.
