A prayer for Salam

I’m on CBC’s The Current at 8:30am Eastern time today, talking with Anna Maria Tremonti about … well duh, Salam Pax of course.

I’ve lost track of the number of reporters I’ve talked to about him in the past week. Charles Piller at the LA Times stands out for his thoughtful insights, plus the sheer number of times he called me until I spit out the definitive quote: “We have met the enemy and he’s a lot more like us than we ever imagined.”

I just hope he’s still alive.
