Behind the flap over DARPA’s defunding of the OpenBSD project, there’s a bigger story being lost: These guys fixed a gaping hole in computer security, one that’s been exploited repeatedly to cause billions of dollars in damage over the past 15 years. I have an article about this coming out tomorrow.

Now if someone can only come up with a fix to keep people from opening email viruses.

Madonna hacked back

To be honest, I got a kick out of Madonna’s fake MP3s from her new album (they’re just a loop of her asking “What the fuck do you think you’re doing?” for P2P file sharers), but the obvious response was just as good….
