Slate’s Broadcast Flag FAQ
Wednesday, November 26th, 2003After the FCC passed its Broadcast Flag copy protection order for digital TV set this month, I rounded up questions from Slate staffers (”should I start hoarding TiVos?”) and then cut through a small forest of misinformation to find the answers. Sometimes when people have questions, what they really need are answers, not advocacy from someone who can’t talk about the weather without quoting 1984. I know, it’s not as much fun.
