Engadget, the new gadget blog

Peter Rojas, my friend and editor of Gizmodo, has jumped ship to start his own full-time gadget blog, Engadget. Many, many people have told me they buy their gadgets based on Peter’s recommendations. Glenn Reynolds told Wired, “When I mentioned it at the Gateway store in Knoxville, all the salespeople admitted they were regular readers.” With Engadget, Peter, who has written all of Gizmodo’s content since its launch two years ago, moves from part-time freelance writer to full-time partner in his own business. Congratulations, pal!

U.S. Sen. John Kerry won an expected, but special endorsement in his presidential bid — that of his home state’s governor. Janet Napolitano, Kerry’s fellow Democrat and governor of his own state of Massachusetts, came out in support of the Democratic presidential frontrunner …

As I’m sure they’re aware by now, Janet Napolitano is the governor of Arizona.
