American Music Club at SXSW

Mark Eitzel and the reunited American Music Club will play SXSW both Friday and Saturday nights. Mark has not only a unique voice but a unique way with words. I’m listening to 60 Watt Silver Lining right now and recalling the time he showed up at a sushi outing with friends of ours. He was, in contrast to his music, utterly hilarious in person. I liked him instantly, and like his music even more now that I can hear the wry smile behind it all.
