My TV reporter pal Wayne Freedman and I may (or may not - you never know) be on KGO Channel 7 during the 6 o’clock news tonight pondering why people buy new tech gadgets so obsessively. It’s not reason, it’s romance - I’ll figure out its practical advantages later, but for now I just want to hold it.
