Slate Has 8 Million Readers, Honest—I’ve been working on this one on and off since November. One thing I’ve learned is there’s more hard math in the house at places like NetRatings these days than most of us imagine. Especially those of us who dealt with companies in the 90’s that used averages of averages and backwards logic in their reports. Today’s Web ratings people seem to know a lot more about what they don’t know.
