Jonah Goldberg: “Slate’s editorial voice is … that of an Ivy League kid who can skip class and still get an A on the test.” Ok, he’s got me there.
Eugene Volokh: “Why not do better than the newspapers? When there’s a serious error in an article, why not put up an item on your front page that says ‘Retracting Our Charlton Heston Explainer?’” As he notes, Slate’s Web server logs prove that few people ever see the corrections.
