We are amused by the new fellow at Valleywag

As we ponder our plans for world domination from the 13th floor balcony, it has come to our attention that this new Nick Denton fellow at Valleywag has found his feet quickly.
In the three days since he decided to … shall we say, precipitate his predecessor from the catbird seat, young Denton has earned our grudging acknowledgement. He’s thwarted his foes with cold insights and hot reporters. Rather unfortunate that he uncovered Google’s mind-control machine before it could be fully deployed. Still, the lad made it alive through an entire issue of Mother Jones to bring home the story.
Our hidden operatives are already at work to embed Valleywag’s outgoing editor in the unsuspecting corridors of mainstream media. But this Denton is as mean as he is smart. He may one day become a valuable addition to our Bulldog Empire. A pity should he choose to compete with us instead. We could be forced to invoke … sanctions. Isn’t that right, Mr Wrinkles?
