Valleywag paparazzo Randal Alan Smith caught me drooling into the new Wired. The issue includes a manga comic about manga, printed in Japanese right-to-left order. It's like Scott McCloud meets Sailor Moon.

This week we got an anonymous tip at Valleywag saying, "Paul Boutin is definitely out at Wired." You don't say? I handed the blog reins back to Evan Hansen six months ago and went back to writing. I'm talking to a Wired editor right now about writing something for an upcoming issue.

If there's one thing I can't stand about San Francisco's also-ran media scene, it's the constant gossip about who's in and who's out and blah blah blah mwah mwah by hacks who can't put one sentence in front of another. Instead of taking yourselves so seriously, people, take yourselves to a writing class.
