Christina recommends Leading Geeks by Paul Glen. It's not a book on how to pander to or placate your techies. Rather, it explains how people who are so good at puzzles can be so bad at interpersonal relationships. Also: Watch out for the logic trap. Geeks love logic! But wait, isn't love an illogical emotion? You got it, Spock.

Ok ok, more pictures of Christina. She hates this, really. I mean she's a professional corporate executive and everything. But rawr! Thanks to the 169 German Splunk admins who voted for her at that fanboy site.

I've belatedly discovered 30 Rock, NBC's sitcom about the cast of a Saturday Night Live-like show. Smart writing, solid acting. Alec Baldwin as the laughably vain but maddeningly competent GE vice president in charge of the show is a character after my own heart. It's on iTunes and at NBC.com.
